A robust framework that is broadly agreed, widely adopted, and clearly defined is critical to ensuring progress on sustainability in commodity finance and driving enhanced levels of ESG transparency. Arguably, the standards are there, but they are not well distributed. In this session we gather a panel of sustainability experts at different stages of the process to discuss current sustainability standards and propose potential next steps. - Are too many industry participants holding back from implementing ESG standards until there is a single standardized approach?
